Knick-Knack This light-hearted project was commissioned by a Czech producer of designers' fancy things. They asked us to develop their identity from scratch. Naming them, we suggested playing with the multifold meanings of 'knick-knack(ery)'. We liked the undertone rhyme with 'bakery' and 'factory', which set the creative process in motion.
As a result, there appeared a 'plant' of different workshops, one for each project, and a couple

of industrial and good-humoured factory owners, Mr.Knick and Mr.Knack. The challenge of the venture is its seasonal nature. Every project will be dedicated to a particular holiday or time of year, demanding a new image. The first 'department' to appear is X-mas Bakery, where the fantastically knacky friends 'bake' 'tasty' Christmas trimmings. The season defined the choice of colours, the snowy white and light blue contrasting with plywood-shortbread-like brown.
